Support the Marin County Law Library Today!
The Marin County Law Library asks for donations to contribute to our primary mission of access to justice for all.
We rely on the support of generous community member like YOU. Your donation will assist us in regularly updating
several publications integral to conducting legal research as well as to continue providing excellent customer service
to our patrons. We also are seeking equipment donations to improve our conference room facility. We invite you
to visit us and utilize the many resources available at the Marin County Law Library.
The Marin County Law Library experienced a devastating decline in its income when the courts closed during the
Coronavirus Pandemic Stay Home Order. County Law Libraries are not funded by taxpayer dollars the way
public libraries are; we receive over 90% of our income from a set portion of civil filing fees. Despite these
financial difficulties, we expanded the legal resources available to the public on our website to ensure continued
access during the pandemic. We also adapted two of our community service programs to offer them on Zoom;
Lawyers in the Library and First Thursdays at the Marin County Law Library. The Law Library is a vital resource
to the entire Marin community, and we hope we can count on your support.
